Le Sorelle flute and violin duo is a Cape Town based ensemble with sisters Catherine and Alexandra.
This dynamic and elegant group is the perfect choice for live music at weddings and other special occasions.

Catherine Stephenson

Catherine Stephenson is an active solo, chamber and orchestral musician in Cape Town. She graduated from the South African College of Music in 2009 with a Bachelor of Music Honors in Performance. She has recently returned to Cape Town having completed a Master of Music in Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, studying flute, piccolo and baroque flute. Catherine was the winner of the 2013 Mid-Somerset Festival "Concerto for Woodwind, Brass and Recorder" Competition in Bath and was awarded the Robin Ledbury cup for Music.

Alexandra Stephenson

Alexandra Stephenson has been playing the violin ever since she was seven years old, and continued her studies at the South African College of Music. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Cape Town in 2010, specialising in classical singing and violin. During her undergraduate years, she was a member of both the UCT Symphony Orchestra and UCT String Ensemble. Alexandra completed an Honours degree in Italian Language and Literature, from the same university in 2011.
